Care Package Exchange Anyone?

Social isolation or self-quarantine giving you a little cabin fever? Need something new to spice it up a bit? Let’s come together to create a care package exchange!

Getting bored of the same board games, craft supplies, puzzles, books, and such? Let’s trade! Simply fill out this form and The Road Knott Taken will match you with another person, couple, or family. Once matched simply fill a care package box with some of your well-loved, but still, very much usable items that you think others would just love too! Put your package in the mail, and wait for yours to arrive.

Hopefully, you live somewhere where you have been able to get outside and enjoy that sunshine and nature solitude vibe. Here in the PNW, we have been blessed with a week of sunshine and 50+ degree weather. We planted flowers, made water gun watercolor art, and played at the beach.

In a week’s time, we have gone through a bunch of stay-home projects, played our favorite board games, and enjoyed multiple viewings of Frozen 2 on Disney+. And all that was in a gorgeous week where we spent several hours a day outside. Alas, next week looks a little bleaker with rain on the horizon each day. It is time to get creative.

I simply don’t want to go to the store to buy a new game if there is another option. Why spend money or order more “stuff” online? So many people are in the same boat right now, bored with the things they have at home for entertainment. A care package exchange seems like the perfect solution. I mean who doesn’t love to get rid of things around the house AND get a package in the mail full of surprises?

Just imagine how exciting it would be for your little one to get new fabric to create something awesome, or a superhero comic they have yet to read. What about a 1000 piece Where’s Waldo puzzle to put together while sipping on a cold adult beverage? The possibilities are endless! You can regift old Christmas gifts, crafting supplies, books… And who knows, maybe someone will even send you some highly sought after hand sanitizer and/or toilet paper!
